    During Jefferson's time in France with Benjamin Franklin and John Adams, he became the minister after Franklin resigned. He created a code called the Wheel Cipher, His time being a minister also helped the french side with us during war.

    He declared that no president should serve longer than two terms which set kind of boundaried for the future presidents to come.
  • Sold his library to congress

    In Febuary, his sale was finalalized, and congress paid him $23,950 for his collection of over 6,487 volumes of books, articles, and documents that are now kept in Washington DC. These books and things helped philosophers and historians and other people to this day to understand and know America's history.
