This was the time of the world war one , ernest hemingway faught in this war . until he was hurt really bad and they sent him home and that was the inspiration for his novel " A Farewell to Arms ". -

In the 1920's this was the time when everyone started drinking and selling liquor and stuff , until it was banned and against the law to sell alchol in stores and to get drink on the streets . but knowing people they sold it on the low because they still wanted to make money just not get caught. -

The 1920'swasfilled with young people who were corrupted , the women were wearing litle skirts drinking and just acting crazy . also the women were given the right to vote. -
how did the Lost Generation come about
the 1920's came about becasue thats the time when people really started to get crazy , women were allowed to vote , and go out places and try to get jobs. the young people started listening to jazz and dressing different and people of the older generation didnt like this one bit . women were disrespecting each other and drinking , calling each other ugly words and etc. -

in 1921 Ernest hemingay got married Hadley richardson, she was the first women he married out of the four , yes hes been married to four different women 4 times him and hadley were only married for 7 years . they didnt even stay married long enough for the roaring twenties to be over. right after they were divorced he got married to pauline pfeiffer that same year. -

in 1922alice prin became the first french artist , model , she sung at a night club, memioritist and painter. -
the clothes people wore
the fashion back in the 1920' was staring to get crazy females were wearing littleskirts and stuff like that they were cuting there hair into bobs . -

Ernest Hemingway moved to paristo get away from what was going on in america hewrote about the government and etc. and he also wrote about all the things he liked to do and what made him happy as a person. -

this was the year that there was was an immigration law that excluded some people out in the favor of other people. "the red scare" is what led to a strict immigration law. -

this is the year where everybody started dancing all wild and crazy. the older generationsdidnt like itbeacuse themusic vulgarity and depravity. -
Talking movies
Talking movies didnt come out until the early 1920's and didnt get into theaters until 1927 . the warner brothers released this new type of technology because before there wasnt any sound when movies were watched. -
Gambling
Gambling in the 1920's had to be one of the biggest problems back then around the time of the great depression because people were going through rough times and gambling was probably the only thing they had to turn too. -

this is the year automoblies bussiness really started , gasstations and motels were being met , so that the drivers could havesome gas and a placeto sleepwhen they were driving to another state or town. -
The End of The Roaring Twenties
the roaring tweties ended the year of 1930 when the stock market crashed and there were alot of unemploued people trying to figure out how they were gonna be able to take of the bills and put food on the table if they didnt have job. so everyone decided to takea break from all the fun because it was time to get serious.
