    During the peak of The Great Depression (1932-1933), almost one quarter of America’s population was unemployed and starving. On March 4th, 1933, President Theodore Roosevelt launched The New Deal in his first 100 days in office. The New Deal was a series of reforms and laws that addressed the Great Depression and its people. One of the most successful acts of The New Deal was the Civil Conservation Corps. This act addressed the pressing problem of unemployment.

They voted him Chancellor of Germany because they thought they would be able to keep an eye on him, but after the Nazi Party won the Majority, they lost control and Hitler became a war dictator.

    The New England Hurricane was one of the deadliest and most destructive tropical cyclones to impact New England. The storm formed near the coast of Africa on September 9, becoming a Category 5 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale before making landfall as a Category 3 hurricane[1] on Long Island on September 21. The hurricane was estimated to have killed 682 people.
