In the Summer of 1557 Robert Dudley was still having nightmares and thoughts about how Queen Mary executed his father. His father got executed for treason agaisnt the Queen and held Robert and his brothers in prison to, they got let out.Even though they were let out this caused so much shame on Robert's life for him and his wife Amy. He may have gotten out of prison but was one of the most hated men in England now.He wanted the Queen to like him again so he traveled to Spain to help the King. -

In the Summer of 1558 Robert snuck into court to talk to Queen Mary to try and get this treason of his name.He pleaded and told her he fought in both battles and she replied by blaming him for loosing the Battle of Calasis.He told her the french outnumbered them and that is was not his fault.She then lifited treason of his name, gave him his land back and his title back. -

Winter of 1558
In winter 1558 Amy was waiting for Robert who had been in Spain for sixth months.In the battle of St.Quentin Robert had lost his brother.He had lost the Battle of Calasis, France.After this battle Calasis got taken back over by France. -

Winter 1558-1559
In autumn 1558 Queen Mary had died and it was time for Queen Elizabeth I to start her reign.England was bankrupt Elizabeth realized that when they told her there wasnt enough money to give her a coronation and parade and that theyd have to borrow money.Cecil her advsior kept giving suggestions on who she should marry.Elizabeth wanted to start a new Protestant reform but Cecil told her people would rise agaisnt her. -

Phillip of Spain sends letter to Queen Elizabeth to court and marry her.Both Cecil and Robert have different ideas on who she should marry and why. Robert thinks hed be a good choice for Elizabeth. Elizabeth denies Phillip of Spain's proposal.Elizabeth and Robert flirt and start growing feelings.Queen Elizabeth I then gave Robert the title of "Order of the Garter" and a new house with land. -

Summer of 1559
Robert and Amy get into a huge fight and say very harsh words to one another.Robert thinks he deserves the best and wants to live like it he tells her he is the "Order of the Garter" and wants a huge house.At court they begged the Queen to send soldiers to defend their bourders agaisnt the French.Also Robert returns and things get heated between him and Elizabeth.Rumours start going around about him and the Queen and the Court doesnt approve.The court wants him gone. -

Cecil reminds Elizabeth that she is promised to marry Arran if he wins Scotland from the French. Cecil tells Elizabeth that theres a plan agaisnt her and Robert and that she cannot marry him. Robert tells his wife Amy that he has given up on Elizabeth. -

Winter 1559-60
Robert and Elizabeth are drifting apart more and more because she is focusing on her country. France is out to get her and her country. Cecil keeps trying to get Mary Queen of Scots to side with England and not France. Cecil also tells Elizabeth that the French are waiting for the weather to change and then their going to attack England. Elizabeth tries to reverse what shes done with her ships but Cecil tells her to late were at war with France. -
May 20, 1560
Spring of 1560
Robert tells Amy he wants a divorce and he wants to marry the Queen. Cecil gets a letter from the French saying they have a plot agaisnt Robert and Elizabeth and ends with at least one of them dead.Mary Queen of Guise had died and Elizabeth rejoiced that England had beaten the French. Robert and Elizabeth make a bethrothal to eachother in secret but then Elizabeth realizes she has to break it off.Amy "falls down" the stairs breaks her neck and dies.The court declares her death as accidental.
