Anne's first diary entry
Anne had written her first diary entry only two days after her birthday. For her birthday she had gotten that diary, and Camera Obscura, a party game, lots of sweets, chocolates, a puzzle, a brooch, Tales and Legends of the Netherlands by Joesph Cohen, Daisy's Mountain Holiday, and some money. When she woke up she say her cat, Moortje, and on the table there were lots of roses, a plant, and some peonies. -
The Start
www.pbs.orgAnne and her family have gotten to the old office attic for the first time and is going to spend the rest of the war there. They have to be very quiet and even hardly any movement so people downstairs won't hear them. If they didn't come here, then they would of had to go to a concenttrtation camp. -
An Eighth Person
They are thinkning about taking in an eighth person. They have enough room and food for one more. The only problem is that their only afraid of giving Koophuis and Kraler more trouble. -
Dussel Arrives
They had choosen Dussel to be the eighth person. When he got there he was given a set of guide lines, for example: Special fat-free diet, Board and lodging: Free, Running water in the bathroom and down various inside and outside walls, etc. They had even told Dussel that they had sent people and the Germans on the wrong track if they tried to find them. -
Anne+Peter
Anne and Peter have gotten really close in the past few months here in the attic. So close that Peter has made a move on Anne and kissed her. Anne is started to have feelings for Peter that she never knew before, -
A Year In The Attic
The "Secret Annexe" has been in that old office attic for over a year. For a year eight people have been in that cramped attic with no sunlight or fresh air or even fresh food, mostly only beans and bread. And living with eight people their have been a lot of arguements. -
Political Update
The Russian front is strong again and is near Odessa. Hungary is currently occupied by German troops, and there are still million Jews. They probably will have it just as bad as Amsterdam. -
The Secret Annexe almost gets caught
Burgulars had broken in, and in a few moments later the police had came. All the women were ordered to remain upstairs. When the men came back none was allowed to move or make a sound. The cupboard had creaked twice but the Gestapo didn't catch them. -
The Secret Annexe was caught

Everyone was arrested and taken to a prison where the men and women were separated. Anne and Margot are transported to Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. -
End of the War
Germany was got their over seas colonies and the valuable territories in Europe. They also had to pay for all the civilan damage what was caused by the war. And their military was virtually destroyed and they had no more pride or nationalism
