Cause:Sir Raligh became very interested in exploration. Effect;Settelers landed in what is now North Carolina.

Colonist vanished from Roanoke Island

Jan 1, 1586

Cause:Settelers vanished from the Anglo Spanish War 3 years after the last supply ship. Effect:They gained the nickname the lost colony.

Founding of James Town Virgina

Jan 1, 1607

Cause:A company named Virginia and Company gold and new things to be exported.
Effect:The thirteen colonies formed, and America was started.

Colonial Stamp Act

Cause:The Colonial Stamp Act happened because the british started taxing the Colonies but they argued only there leaders could tax them.
Effect:The Colonial Stamp Act happened.

Flag of Stars and Stripes adopted

Cause:When America went to war the needed to show the brittish they would not go back.
Effect:The American flag was adopted.

Philedelphias Free African Society is formed.

Cause:Established in 1787 by former slaves Absalom Jones Richard Allen and other free black men,the Free African Society was an independent ,mutual aid orginazation formed in Philidelphia to provide for the needs of the African community.
Effect:The Free African Society was formed.
