    Elie is now 13, he has just met Moishe the Beadle who will tell him things to come. Moishe experiences the tuff things that Elie has to go through. This is a picture that could be considered as taking the people away, Moishe served almost as Elie's teacher or mentor.

    This is the time when the Germans entered the city and started to make their own rules. This is when they began to sent Jews into ghettos.

    This is when the Jewish people were forced from the Ghettos to a train that took them to the concentration camp Auschwitz. The were greeted by huge flames and many people going to the crematory. This is the major first act of how cruel we see the German people to be.

    Elie is whipped and this in my mind was a major moment yet again showing the cruelty of the camp. Elie is not allowed to tell what he saw whiile in the camp.

    This was extremely important when the factroy was bombed. This left soup out and it showed the temptation for hunger and fear. No one left the block except for one person who was shot down. This proved fear was greater than hunger.

    The beloved pipel is hanged after weapons are found in the camp. People are shocked. This brings people to ask where is god and really question their faith.
