The Boston Tea party happened because there was a protest on the tea act. 50 colonists dressed up as Mohawk Indians. The colonists boarded the British tea ship and throw 90,000 pounds of tea overboard. -

The British were upset about The Boston Tea party so they put other blatant acts of destruction of British property by American colonists. -
Lexington and Concord(1775)
General Gage organized a surprise attack on the colonists after he found out that they were hiding weapons and gunpowder in Concord. -
British attacks on coastal towns(1776)
In October 1775-January 1776 the British attacked coastal towers before the brutal British naval bombardment and burning.
