    The purpose was to get more land to help the economy.
    The colonists were actually happy, beacuse if they won they would have more land to settle on.

    Gave all French territory to British east of Mississippi river.
    British got all land east of Mississippi river.
    Colonists were happy to have more land to settle on.

    The purpose was to forbide colonization west of the Appalachin Mountains.
    It was hard for them to gain all that land but not be able to use it, but it made them look more powerful.
    The colonists were angered that they could not colonize the land.

    The purpose was to put tax on sgar to help get out of financial distress from the war.
    To get money to help pay for expences from the war.
    This made the colonists very angry because the tax was made higher and they didn't like that.

    Taxed all legal documents, and all stamps in the new colonies.
    The purpose was to get money to help gain money after the French and Indian war.
    The colonists were angry that they taxed stamps because they might have to send a letter back home, so they organized a boycott.

    Gave officers the right to inspect ships, but the bad thing was no one was watching them so they could steal.
    It helped the british so people in the new colonies would not get free recources.
    This didn't make the colonist mad at all, but it sure did bug the merchants because people could go on their ship and make them late or something else.

    The Townshend act put taxes on random houshold item.
    Like all the other acts the Townshend act was to help finacial issuses after the war.
    The Townshend act made the colonist so angry they boycotted.

    The Quartering act wasn't like most it did not make you pay txes, but made you house British soldiers.
    So they didn't have to come back to Great Britian and could stay in the colonies in case there was an attack.
    This caused the colonists to get more angry and riot even more.

    This was when a group of British soldiers killed a lot of colonists that were rioting.
    The soldiers had no reason to kill the colonist, but the colonists had a reason to riot because of the txes and acts.
    This sparked a big rebelion and caused even more riot s it had a big factor on making the revonolutionary war happen.

    • There wasn’t really a reason for the soldiers but the colonists were rioting because of the acts.
    The colonists were even more mad and created more riots.

    The intolerable acts by King Geogre said that no town was to have town meetings. The purpose of this was to stop riots and other ungrateful acts. This didn't work like it was suposed to it just made more riots.

    The first continental congress met to discuss, what they would do about all the acts. They decided to make an army if needed.Then George Washington was put in charge of the army. This helped start the revolution.

    Battle of lexington had "the shot heard around the world" it is one of the most famous battles because it started the revolution. No one knows who exactly fired that shot, but they do know it was a patriot.
    Concord was the second battle happening right after lexington, but the patriots still lost like the at lexington.

    Made a plan that said while colonies prepare for war, the congress would prepare for reconciliation. The congress made a petition in hope that it would intervene in a parliment.
