  • Sugar Act

    Sugar Act
    The Sugar Act was a modified version of the Molasses Act in 1733, The act imposed that the people pay a tax of three pence per gallon of imported Mollases. This act was hard on the american colonist because they had a three cent tax on all foriegn sugars. The Americans took actiopn and started severl boycotts. The British lost a lot of money from the boycotts so they protested to the Parliment, soon the parliment repealed the act.

  • Stamp Act

    Stamp Act
    The Stamp Act was imposed for all American Colonist. This act required them to pay a tak on every piece of paper they used. Both the American colonist and the British protested,boycotted, and debated the Stamp act.
  • The Quartering Act

    The Quartering Act
    This act was imposed to Americans that they had to house and feed all british soldiers in barracks provieded in the colonies. The colonial government refused to house the british soldiers. the british soon suspended the colnials local legislature.
  • The Declatory Act

    The Declatory Act
    The purpose of this act was to directly tax for revenue on the Sugar and Stamp Acts. The colonist celebrated their victory on getting the Stamp Act repealed. They did not make any notion to the Declratory Act.
  • The Tea Act

    The Tea Act
    The purpose of The Tean Act was to reduce the amout of Tea and to undercut the price of illegal tea. The colonist made an effort to prevent tea from being ditributed. This lead to the Boston Tea Party where all the tea was thrown over board on a ship.
