The Path to the New Government

  • New Sheriffs in Town

    Inform the existing government officials that changes will be made. Existing members will continue to perform as an interim government, for an indefinite amount of time.
  • Inform the Public

    The public needs to be educated on how the government works. Since the new government will be similar to the old one, it won't be too difficult, however the widespread advertisement is also a call for prospective politicians to begin campaigning.
  • A Rough Layout, Ideas

    Design a constitution giving rough government architecture, as well as enumerating citizen rights. Take polls to determine which existing rights will remain, or which may be added.
  • The New Rules

    Determine which new rights will be adopted into the constitution, and which will be amended, by bipartisan committee.
  • Write the New Constitution

    Write final draft of constitution.
  • Make the Constitution Public

    Display new constitution online and publish copies available to the public. Original is delivered to the National Archives.
  • Political prospects step forward.

    Chosen by their peers at a county, district and state levels, prospective nominees announce their candidacy. Their history, public record, qualifications and education must be made fully public. Announce new candidates for state govt officials. Only fact checked information may be displayed, and through media only. Each candidate must have a website where information and policy is clearly shown.
  • Federal Underlings

    Announce new candidates for low-level federal government officials. Campaign process is the same as state representatives.
  • The Small Federal Elections

    Hold elections for low-level federal government officials. Any overlap will be handled in similar fashion as with state representatives.
  • 5 Nominees for 3 Seats

    Announce 5 new candidates for 3 presidential seats. A full disclosure of their entire professional background will be made public. Each figure will be given 9 months to campaign, and each will be given nationally televised air time in which to address their goals, policies, and background. All fact checked background information and policies will be available online.
  • The Senators

    Announce new candidates for 100 Senatorial seats (exactly 50 Republican and 50 Democrat). As with all previous seats, all policies, background and information will be displayed publicly. Candidates will be given 2 months to campaign.
  • The State Vote

    Hold elections for state government officials. Existing officials will remain in place (if they were elected) or do a proper hand-off of responsibilities to the newly elected official.
  • The Congressmen

    Announce new candidates for 430 Congressional seats (exactly 215 Republican and 215 Democrat). As with all previous seats, all policies, background and information will be displayed publicly. Candidates will be given 2 months to campaign.
  • The Cabinet

    Announce 100 new candidates for 24 cabinet seats.As with all previous seats, all policies, background and information will be displayed publicly. Candidates will be given 2 months to campaign.
  • The Senate Election

    Hold elections for 100 Senatorial seats. Election results will be made public immediately, and beginning from day one, all work performed and money spent will be made public information. Existing officials will remain in place (if they were elected) or do a proper hand-off of responsibilities to the newly elected official.
  • The Congressional Election

    Hold elections for 430 Senatorial seats. Election results will be made public immediately, and beginning from day one, all work performed and money spent will be made public information. Existing officials will remain in place (if they were elected) or do a proper hand-off of responsibilities to the newly elected official.
  • The Cabinet Election

    Hold elections for 24 cabinet positions. Election results will be made public immediately, and beginning from day one, all work performed and money spent will be made public information.     Hold elections for 3 Presidential Seats (1 President and 2 Vice Presidents). Election results will be made public immediately, and beginning from day one, all work performed and money spent will be made public information.

    Presidents take office, hold State of the Union Address, announce the new form of government.
  • Public Opinion

    Polls will be taken during the next month to rate the effectiveness of the new government. The public will be encouraged to research all information regarding the work performed at all levels of the government. Every 6 months, evaluations will be made to determine the worthiness of each government employee.
