Characters and Setting
The main characters are Ponyboy, Johny, Darry, Dally, Sodapop, and Two-bit. Who are apart of a gang called the greasers.
The setting is in Oklahoma in the 1980's -
Conflicts Start
Ponyboy, Johny, and Dally get into a fight with the socs their rival gang because they were talking to some of their girlfriends -
Rising Action
Ponyboy and Johny get into another fight with the socs but this time its not so good. The socs try to drown Ponyboy but then Johny stabs one of them and kills him. -
Run Away
After Killing one of the socs Ponyboy and Johny run away to an old abandoned church. -
Coming Home
Dally goes to the church to tell Ponyboy and Johny that tensions are rising between the gangs and they need to come home. -
Fire
While leaving, the chuch started on fire and there were kids inside of it. The three of them got all the kids out safely and then part of the roof fell on Johny and broke his back. -
Climax
A huge fight started between the socs and greasers to finish the battle between them once and for all. -
Falling Action
The greasers won the fight and they all rushed back to the hospital to see how Johny was but when they got there he had died. -
Still Not Right
After all of this Ponyboys grades start falling and he starts fighting with his brothers. -
Resolution
Finally Ponyboy stops fighting with his brothers and starts appling himself in school more and decides to write a paper about his life the past month for his english project. -
