Circe told Odysseus what to watch out for on his voyage.
-
Shortly after Odysseus' meeting with Circe, they set sail from the Island. They were receiving a good wind, so they didn't have to paddle very much.
-
He was unsure about what Circe told him, but he was quickly (As fast as a boat back then can go I Guess) approaching the island.
-
When they were a ways from the Island of Circe, Odysseus began to tell his crew members about the Sirens. He told them that when they were closer to the island, they needed to tie him up because he wanted to hear their song, without compromising the voyage.
-
After they had been gone for a while (Even longer than the lest thing) the wind had dialed down and while the crew started to row, Odysseus made some earplugs for all of them.
-
As they could barely see the island, Odysseus told his men to tie him to the mast, put their earplugs in, and row quickly towards the island
-
As they were sailing by, The sirens came from the water, and started singing.
