    The next stop after the Trojan war was the island of the Cicones. Odysseus and his men decided to raid the island in order to get the supplies they needed.     Island of the Lotus Eaters

    Island of the Cyclops

    Island of the Cyclops
    When Odysseus and his men landed on the island to resupply, they had no idea that the Cyclops, Polyphemus lived their. After Polyphemus walks in on them while they are feasting and eats two of the men, Odysseus comes up with a plan to tell the Cyclops that his name is nobody, so when he blinds Polyphemus the Cyclops will simply yell that nobody is blinding him.     Aeolia
    The next stop is Aeolia. King Aeolus puts wind in a bag and gives it to Odysseus and tells him not to open it.     Aeaea
    After their daring escape from the Laestragonians Odysseus landed on the island of Aeaea, of the land of Circe the witch. He sent out men to search the area, and they did not return.     The Underworld

    On their way to Scylla they passed by the Sirens, women who sang songs that lured sailors to their death. Odysseus wanted to hear the song, so he instructed his men to tie him to a pole while they put wax in their ears.     After the run in with the Sirens, Odysseus continues on his way straight toward Scylla just as he was instructed. As they pass by Scylla, she reaches out with her six heads and devourers six of the crew members.     Thrinacia
    Thrinacia is the island sacred to Apollos cattle. Odysseus tells his men not to eat them for it will make the god mad, but they do not listen to him and eat the cows when he is away.     Odysseus' bad luck continued when Poseidon destroyed his ship out of anger so that he washed up on the shores of Phaeacia.     With the help of Athena, Odysseus disguised himself as a beggar so that he can see if his family remained loyal to him. While his son is still loyal, the suitors in the house are mean to him and after a challenge laid out by his wife, Odysseus revealed himself.
