Odysseus sees ghosts of his diseased men and he gets to talk to his mother and gets the prophacy for Circe tat told him he would arrive home but he would leave on a different journey afterward. -

The Sirens
The siren sisters were birds with heads of a woman and they had a entrancing voice, making a man jump to his death. So, Odysseus plugged all of his men's ears with beeswax and had them tied to a pole. -
Helio's cattle/ Zeus' lightning bolt
Odysseus is warned not to eat Helio's cattle but his men are so hungry that they don't listen and so, out of anger, Zeus struck his ship with a lightning bolt and killed all of them except Odysseus. -
Calypso
Odysseus is held for 7 years at her island. She only lets him go because Zeus tells her to. She only gives him a raft and a bag of bad winds. -
