Three months after their departure, the first fleet arrives in botany bay carrying 1480 men. They were mostly British but some were African, American and French convicts. -

Captain James Cook didn't meet a lot of aboriginal people on the Eastern shoreline. He assumed that it was an empty country so he went on to invade it.Another man named Joseph banks thought that the aboriginals would run away. They were both highly incorrect.
