    The Mayan civilization begins. They also start to begin building more of their civilization. Also, they start to take over other territories too.

    The city of Teotihuacan is founded. This city is for countries that have this type of religion, culture, and the trading centers of Mesoamerica. Also, at one point this was the capital city of the Mayans.

    The Maya group city Cerros is built. It also has complex temples and ball courts. It was abandoned for one hundred years for unknown reasons. The remaining people of the Maya returned for its fishing and farming.

    The Spanish priest Father Avendano and his companions discover the ruins of Tikal. He and his companions got lost in that jungle where Tikal is. The ruins of Tikal was discovered by chance.

    Workmen building the Panama Canal found a Jade from the Mayan back in 320 A.D. This plaque is one of the oldest known objects in the Mayan culture. Also, they found this Jade while digging out the Panama Canal.
