Ralph "like a crowd of kids" Even though they got off on the wrong foot Piggy and Ralph both realize that the boys wouldc act crazy on the island without supervision. Piggy still adheirs to what many adults would do to maintain order. Ralph is trying to keep the boys together while keeping them happy ot miantain an established order on the island. They both Realize to leave there needs to be control.

    Piggy and Ralph start to trust eachother more oftento keep power. They both think that with their shared control and intellect they can stop jack from converting the island to a dystopia. Piggy and Ralph learn that without the adults present their words mean nothing to the boys. They are able to maintain limited control but jack want for power is still growing

    Piggy and Ralph both try to find excuses for their failures. They resort too narcacism and try to find psychological blames for their failure to maintain a decent government. They try to blame all their problems on different factors in their problems. They try to maintain their innocence by blaming others but can only find themselves to blame. Their failure will result to jacks full control and piggy's death
