The Rodeo
Marcia takes Sophia to a rodeo for a girls night out while she is recovering from a recent break-up. -
Luke Collins
Sophia's ex-boyfriend Bryan followed her to the rodeo. He follows her outside and trys to talk to her but she wants nothing to do with him. He is drunk and angry and ignores Sophia. Luke Collins sees Bryan grabbing Sophia and comes to help her out. This is when they first meet. -
First Date
The day after the rodeo Luke invites Sophia to his ranch. He shows her around and explians all of the jobs he has to do. They talk and get to know eachother. Luke takes Sophia horse back riding through the trails around his ranch. -
Second Date
Sophia was going to show Luke around Wake Forest campus but Bryan found out she was seeing Luke so they decided to go for Sushi at Sakura Japanese Restaurant. Then Luke took Sophia to the lake at his ranch while they sat under the stars and got to know eachother more. -
Knoxville
Luke rides in his final event of the year and finished in 9th place. -
Sophia Meets Luke's Mom
Sophia comes over to Luke's house for dinner and to meet his mom. Sophia learns alot about Luke's life and gets to know his mom, Linda, really well. -
The ICU
Luke finally tells Sophia alittle about his past with the bull Big Ugly Critter. He explained that when riding Big Ugly Critter he was flown off and knocked unconscious. The bull dragged him around the arena. Luke had dislocated his shoulder but that was the least of his worries. He was badly injured and ended up in the ICU for a while. This is a big step in their relationship because Luke never talks about what happened. -
Christmas in New Jersey
Lukes goes with Sophia to New Jersey for Christmas and to meet her family. -
First Fight
Sophia and Luke get in their first big fight. Sophia also finds out her best friend, Marcia, is dating her ex-boyfriend Bryan. -
Sophia Finds Out
Sophia finds out what Luke's big secret is and tells him if he continues to bull-ride she will end the relationship. -
Big Ugly Critter
Luke goes to the bull-riding event to ride in the chapionship. He draws Big Ugly Critter agian and must decide whether to ride him agian or walk away. -
Luke Returns
Luke tells Sophia he will give up bull-riding and they get back together. He also makes peace with his mom since she was angry at him for riding. -
Ira Levinson
While Luke and Sophia are on thier way to Luke's cabin they see a car that rolled off the road and down an embankment. They go down the hill and find an old man named Ira in the car. He keeps talking about a letter to his wife that he wants them to find. They eventually get help and Ira is taken to the hospital. -
Ira
Sophia and Luke learn that Ira died in the hospital a few days after they find him. -
Art Show
Sophia gets ticket to an art gallery in Greensboro, North Carolina. It turns out that Ira had sert up this auction before he died. Luke buys Sophia a painting of a women who they learn is Ruth, Ira's wife. They also get a special suprise along with the painting. -
Luke Proposes
Luke proposes to Sophia and she agrees to marry him.
