    How Rue Began
    In 1852 a Brazilian Missionary got on a ship called the Ruenada set sail for Africa to spread the Religion of Roman Catholic. On There way there a wild storm hit them and their ship was about to break apart. Then they saw a bird flying overhead. That made them to realize that there was land. They followed the direction the bird as going.Finally they reached the unclaimed and stayed there. After a period of time they claimed it as their own.
  • Beginng of Independence

    Since the two men who found rue were brazillian rue was technically Brazillian land. As people moved to rue from Brazil they started to realize that they ware not being treated fairly. They were forced to pay higher taxes and they haredly got any government funds. Also the people were from Rue were not treated os nicely as those who lived in Brazil. They dicided it was time for them to be their own country.
  • Independence

    The people of Rue knew they were outnumbered by the Brazillians, but they would not give in. Most Men in Rue went to war while some women sneaked into Brazil to gain Weapons. The war lasted only 4 months because the brazillians had just gotten out of an Revolution themselfs. They did not have the money to start another war. This is one of the only reasons Rue Got their Independence. The War Ended in April 4 1863.
  • Rue Constitution

    Now that Rue was it's own Country it needed a way ot govern itsels. They came up with the Rue Constitution. In short terms it stated that the poplple of Rue could do whatever they pleased to do. Then they realized it would not work. Then they decided to use the Representive Government. It states that each city or (tribe) could elect one lalo (leader). This learson would be part of the Group of people in the japel (congerss). these people would decide the rules of the land.
  • Fuerte Explosion

    In 1924 a Volcano named the Fuerte Erupted. This was a big situation on the land of Rue. People living close to the eruption had to flee their homes. Their houses and belongings were gone. How would these people live? How would the damage be fixed. The people of Rue fixed this problem by letting people stay in their homes, giving them food and provisions. This Experience brought the people of Rue closer in many ways.This was a big moment in the history of Rue.
