The beginning of the Holocaust usually is thought to be the day that Hitler was appointed German chancellor. This was thought because after that no one was guaranteed basic individual rights. After this Hitler established concentration camps where he had Germans go and seek anyone or group that was considered "dangerous."
-
Throughout his first 6 years as a ruler Hitler demanded that anyone that isn't german be sent to concentration camps and be made to work day in and day out. He did this because he felt that if you a=or anyone you knew wasn't German they were a "threat" or "dangerous" to others. This happened for 6 years until all Jews were in a camp or they were shot in sight. After all Jews were put in camps they were made to wear identical badges on their clothes so they could be identified as Jews.

The jews were not the only ones that went through pain if you were disabled, had a mental illness, other color went through the same thing. The reason Germans were also looked at was because some were thought to be unloyal to the regime. Anyone and everyone was looked at just in case they talked down about the regime.
-
As said before Germans and the populations were targeted. The reason that they were targeted was just incase they were talking down about the regime or disliking the way they handled things. Neighbors were forced turn on one another and even tell on another if they did anything that was out of line. Or if they were hiding Jews in their house trying to save them from the others.
-
liffe in a camp was very difficult because they didn't get the luxurious cloths that kept them warm. The furniture they owned wasn't a thing there and basically anything that a Jew had was now the Germans if they wanted it. If they didn't it was burned to ash just like all of the other stuff that was made, written, sung, described, looked, or had any relation to Jew culture. All nights were cold and for some they passed due to lack of food and nutrients including hypothermia since it was cold.
-
Throughout the Jews time in the concentration camp there were also physical check ups that were mandatory. The worst part is that if you are seen to be weak or couldn't keep up you would die or get killed if the natural causes or coldness got to you first.
-
Everyday everyone was being watched. It didn't matter where from they just knew that they were being watched. If you have been working from the morning the Germans would check your work and make sure you have something to show for it if they didn't make enough of the thing they were brought outside and shot in the head, thus requiring another Jew to cover the spot. From the day that they came in the camp this was usual but frightening because no one knew who was next in line to meet their maker.

The end of the holocaust was due to Hitler killing himself, and surrendering to the U.S since America was so close on capturing Hitler. The same day every Jew was informed about what has happened and were all relieved that all of it was over. They only looked at the bright side of it but the thing is they had to earn all of the things they had before they were imprisoned back. They even had to re-buy their houses due to them being invaded and taken over.
