In 2000 some crazy types of welding was introduced such as magnetic pulse welding, and strangely enough an X-ray was used to weld a metal/matrix composite. -

Covid sent business owners of welding companies in a panic, but the overall trade isn't too effected other then following the 6 foot protocol. In welding you always wear a mask so that its affecting to much and with most people working alone anyway covid wont be able to spread through the business to much.
