    Women had to face many different types of changes during this great depression time period. They lost their jobs just like men however they needed to try their hardest to get a new job so that they were able to be that strong figure to their kids and be able to help provide for their family as their husbands were out also trying to find a job or trying to join the fund of getting the rations to provide for their families

    A lot of people lost their jobs during the great depression because they would lower the pay and then the employee would get annoyed with that so the employer would fire them and hire someone who would take the pay rate after it has been lowered and with the scarcity of all the lost jobs, the positions were filled up fast and made it extremely hard to find a job. Other changes that occurred would be that the government creating said fund that would help people in need with food and other rations

    During the Great Depression, the number of immigrants that were allowed to go into Canada was reduced down to under 12,000 by the year 1935 because nobody was able to help them because this time was so rough for everybody. Some immigrants were actually deported back to the country they came from because of how severe every resource was at the time. In the photo, it shows an example of Mexican Immigrants being sent back to Mexico because they couldn't handle all of them.

    Women had another big change in WWII as their husbands were out fighting, so they had to take over the role of working at the factories and other hard-working businesses. They had to make sure that they were able to keep their children safe as well as providing food and work for the family. They had an important influence on their kids because they could show that they are strong and can do the same things that men could do

    Workers' jobs had a big change as more and more people started to encourage the return of conscription. Many people that worked at a factory had to switch into a much much more dangerous job as they could have gotten drafted into the War and had to fight for their lives. Many people in America thought it was a good idea and wanted it to be revived and happen again just as it happened in WWI

    Immigrants during World War II

    A few changes had to happen to the immigrants during this time. They added new restrictions to what had to happen for a person to be able to immigrate to the country they are trying to go to like, the process of being registered in order to go to the specified country, you were not allowed to bring any items with you that could be harmful to the country or used as sabotage like shortwave radios, and restricted their mobility which made it harder to immigrate.
