Soldiers put Black powder in the tube, put a projectile in, then put a which in a small hole in the tube. Then they lit the which which came back and ignited the Black Powder, firing the gun

    Wheel locks changed the design of Pistols. Whicks were replaced with a spinning wheel that created a spark and ignited the powder. They were ussually reserved for only the rich however

    Flint locks were a very important evololution of guns. It opened up the pan and lit the spark at the same time mechanicly. They were also more widly available and cheaper then wheel lock pistols.

    The first pistol that could fire more than one projectiles without reloading. It was one of the most important inventions of the pistol. They were extremly popular and paved the way for future pistols down the road. Also they could be fired in rain, unlike past pistols.
  • C93 is invented

    C93 is invented
    The C93 is the first semi-automatic pistol ever. It used recoil to automaticly reload the firing mechanism. Also innovations that it used that were invented before it are; Pre-Fabricated projectiles; Rifled Barrels; and Dual Action. It also used the first magazines in firearms. It was not very popular because of it's clunkiness, but the C96 invented by Mauser 3 years later was and had for the most the same design.
