Issac Newton was born in Woolsthorpe, England. He was born 3 months after the death of his father also named Issac Newton. His father was a very successful farmer. Newton was born premature and very small. His mother left him in the care of his grandmother at the age of 3 years old when she remarried. This probably lead to a great deal of disturbance througout Newton's life.
