    There was a Potato Blight that let to mass starvation and emigration. The population dropped from over 8 million before the famine to 4,4 million in 1911

    The Easter was an armed rebellion in Ireland doing Easter week. The rising was launched by the Irish Republicans to end British rule in Ireland and establish and independent Irish republic.

    It was an agreement between the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britten and Ireland. The agreement was signed in London on December 6. 1921
