The Silk Road

“The Silk Road, a trade route between China and the Mediterranean Sea, promoted the exchange of ideas and knowledge, along with trade goods and foods such as silk, spices, porcelain, and other treasures from the East” (national geography). The Silk Road helped globalization in the exchange of cultures, goods, and ideas. The globalization brings all country to stay connected by trade routes around the world. International trade and the use of silk road are still happening.

Definition of Globalization

“The worldwide movement toward economic, financial, trade, and communications integration” (business dictionary). The definition of globalization is how countries are coming together as one big global economy, making international trade easier.

Domestic Example of Globalization

the world, contains 100% American cotton” (Green). The domestic example is that the T-shirts are made from American cotton because America is exporting cotton around the world.

International Example of Globalization

Globalization helped many people to emerge from poverty in the last 30 years, due to globalization increasing internationally. People are getting a higher class structure due to globalization.
