  • Edward Traore Jr. (bassist) fired from hard rock band Snow Fox and decides to form a new band

    On April 7, 1979, Edward Traore Jr. was fired from hard rock band Snow Fox because of his aggressive behaviour and tardiness. Afterwards, he decided to form a band that plays a different genre from Snow Fox's and has more members that band. So, he started holding Auditions for his Heavy Metal band.

  • Yeejee joins as Drummer, and Connor Morris joins as vocalist and the band was named Chem-X

  • Chem-X won the battle of the bands

    On September 5, 1984, Chem-X went to Cherry Beach Sound to record their self-titled debut album.

    On March 10, 1985, Chem-X went on their "Murdering is... My Favourite Hobby! Tour" in support of their self-titled debut album. It started on March 10, 1985 in Vancouver, BC, Canada and ended on August 6, 1985 in Stockholm, Sweden.
  • Logan Fraser left Chem-X

    On August 15, 1985, Logan Fraser left the band after the tour to work with other bands.
  • Gage Schold joins as new guitarist.

    On August 24, 1985, Gage Schold auditioned for the band to replaced Logan Fraser.

    Chem-X embarked on their "Creeping Habit" tour

    On February 06, 1986, Chem-X went on their second tour in-support of their second album.
  • Chem-X plays their last show with Connor Morris.

    On June 13, 1986, Chem-X played their final performance with original lead singer Connor Morris, which took place at the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow, Scotland. This marked the end of one of their shows in support of "Survive the Habit".
  • Connor Morris was fired from Chem-X

    On June 17, 1986, Edward Traore Jr. fired Connor Morris from the band because his voice was not sounding very good, and he was being aggressive to the band's fans.
  • Nathan MacIntosh joins Chem-X as their new lead singer

    On July 22, 1986, a few days after Connor Morris's dismissal, Chem-X began holding auditions for Morris's replacement. at least 24 people auditioned for the role. On July 27, 1986, five days later after the auditions, former football player Nathan MacIntosh officially became their new lead singer.

    On September 8, 1986, Nathan MacIntosh made his live performance debut with Chem-X at L'Olympia in Paris, France to finish off the remaining shows of the "Creeping Habit" tour.
