Before the war, France and Britain were bordering each other, France being in between Spain and Britain. Spain didn't care about France being there, Britain on the other hand cared about how France was there because they want more land. Basically the british didn't like anybody except for spain, they mistreated the indians but the french find the indians very helpful with hunting, so when a indian hunts a animal, the french give them stuff as a reward.

French, British and Spanish territories before the war -
At the end of the French and "Indian" war, the French lost their territory to the British, the British conquered a lot of Canada and most of the midwest, they got some land from Spain, they traded Florida to get land from what use to be France.

British and Spanish territories after the war. -
After the war, Britain decided to tax, because after that war, they were quite low on money, so instead of getting money from making it, they did something everyone hates. Taxes were used so it can benefit the troops and help pay expenses, however the colonist didn't feel like it wasn't really benefiting them, they made tax collectors quit there job or were threaten, they refuse to pay taxes, even british products they refuse to use, because of taxes.
-
As you see, this is pretty much how you make people revolt. -
I had to cut out the bottom because you can see dead people. -
Prior to the taxes, 5 colonist were killed from the red coats (aka the british). But why? How did it happen, like almost every massacre, there is a problem, and the problem is American colonists don't pay the taxes, they avoided anything that has to do with taxes, they made tax collectors quit their job and more. This all started from the most common way to start a fight, an argument, then it got bad when they started throwing sticks and snowballs, 50 more came, and more, then contagious fire.

342 boxes of tea in the ocean, money lost, due to people who hate taxes. -
If you really think about it, it was really a party, but in a bad way, there was tea, but it got salty, but how? Well because it was thrown overboard, about 342 boxes of tea was thrown overboard by colonists who dressed themselves as indians mohawks, but sadly the british can tell who did and who did not make the terrible mess. It also made the british lose their money, because tea costs a LOT, according the ducksters, all of that tea is equivalent to around million dollars

Toloration for laws is something serious, if the rest of the country hates it, they hate it so the Intolerable Act formed, because of the Boston Tea party, There was 5 acts, which I will not list on this because It will be a lot, but I will list the names of them. Boston port act, Massachusetts Government act, Administration of justice act, Quartering act, and last is Quebec act. But wait why Quebec? We will never know besides it having a french heritage. But this made colonist mad than ever.

-
This was pretty much talk about the recent events and the punishment of the boston tea party, as you can see it's not going well, after all the british are about to fall apart, anyways, they sent a letter King George the III to pretty much describe why the colonists are being treated like peasants and make him stop the intolerable acts or again they will boycott any british stuff. And they plan to do this pretty boring meeting next year.

If I was in this, I would sleep -
I feel like this was a more bigger meeting. -
After somehow losing all my work because of TimeToasts unique way of exiting out, I will put this simply. The second meeting took place in the state house aka the Independence hall, they had more sessions mostly in the east coast, and now for their achievements, They made George Washington military general, they wrote a olive branch petition to the king of britain. And then something coming up in the next next slide.

This is something that all americans should know, this was when America became independent from Britain. But how? Well first off not everyone agreed on the Declaration of Independence. But hey there was 5 very important people, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Robert livingston, Roger Sherman and Thomas Jefferson, and he was the first one to write the first draft. Now this is a holiday in the US it's important

A very majestic piece.
