    He created the San Fransisco examinar to be one of the largest newspapers in the U.S.One of the most succesfull publishers and newspaper writers. He was also one of the major players in the creation of yellow journalism. His main competition was Pulitzer. He was so well off that he built a castle with the money he maid from his paper.
