The Evolution of Iphones

  • The first iphone was created

    the first iphone was created with 16 gb storage, no app store but 2 mega pixels.

  • Iphone 3G was created

    With this phone the app store was created and it came with faster 3G connectivity wifi.

  • iPhone 3Gs was created

    32 gb storage was introduced. The camera got upgraded to 3 mp and added video recording instead of just taking pictures. Apple also added voice control.

  • iPhone 4 was created

    The iPhone 4 was the first iPhone to have a front facing camera. A retina display was added along with 512 mb memory, which is about double the memory of the previous iPhone.

  • iPhone 4s

    The iphone 4s took a jump from 5 mp too 8 mp. Apple also included the new 64 gb option instead of 32 gb. Siri was also introduced with the new iPhone 4s.

  • The iPhone 5

    Memory on the iPhone 5 was boosted from 512 mb to 1 gb! The new iPhone 5 also had new 5 LTE connectivity. The screen also grew from 3.5 inches to 4 inches.

  • IPhones 5S and 5C

    the iphone 5C was manufactured with a plastic shell and sold in 4 different coloursfor a more affordable price. The iPhone 5S included touch ID, dual flash, and slow motion video. There were also new features added that made the battery last longer.

  • iPhone 6 and 6 plus

    The 6 and the 6 plus's biggest leap from the 5S was the larger screens. The retina display on the screens became HD, and there was also now an option to get a phone with 128 gb of storage.

  • iPhone 6s and 6s plus

    The camera on these new iPhones took a leap from 8 mp to 12 mp. The memory was doubled on the phones and took a giant leap from 1 gb to 2 gbs of storage. 3D touch was also introduced.

  • iPhone SE

    This iPhone was designed to be a smaller, more affordable version of the iPhone 6's without 3D Touch.

  • iPhone 7 and 7 plus

    The iPhone 7's storage space is available at 32 to 256 gb's available. The zoom feature on the camera was improved, and portrait mode was made available on the 7 plus. The headphone jack from the phones were removed as well.

  • iPhone 8 and 8 plus

    Wireless charging was introduced, as well as new editing tools for photos.

  • iPhone X

    Front facing camera was made able to take portraits, and the home but ton was taken away.

  • iPhone XS and XS max

    The battery life was improved on this new iPhone.

  • iPhone XR

    All different colours were introduced, as well as a jump to a 512 gb all in one camera, workspace and entertainment centre.
