The eleventh plaque.
Stephen sat there and watched his dad bury his grandpa. So many things died from the plaque but his grandpa died from old age. Stephen was born after the plaque. He and his father knew they had to move so they left. -
The plane
Stephen and his dad found a plane. They searched it and found nothing except a blanket and a can of pears. After they ate, a huge storm rolled in. In the distance people in a vehicle approached. That meant trouble. The people took shelter outside the plane. They were Slavers. Stephen's dad tried to help the people they enslaved but they took off leaving them to deal with the slavers. So they ran. -
The river.
A few days after they left the plane they could feel the slavers on their tail. The storm was slowing but still going strong. As they ran they stopped at a river. Out of no where the ground beneath them turned to mud, and they fell in to the river. They struggled but Stephen was able to pull his father on to shore. He found and took shelter in a tiny cave. With his father unconscious Stephen had to get food and stay warm till the storm stopped. -
Settlers landing
After the storm some people showed up and brought them to settlers landing. They took care of Stephens dad, and for Stephen he wanted to work. He was eventually put into the family that was taking care of his dad. He was also put into school and life was beginning to become normal. Then came another kid named will who bullied Stephen. Jenny his now adopted sister stands up for him but starts a fist fight. The teachers break it up and they all get sent home. -
Will's house.
Stephen and Jenny wanted revenge. Jenny had a plan. Her and Stephen sneaked out to will's house at about midnight. They approached from the back where all the cattle were. In Jenny's hand was her rifle. She fired a few rounds into the air causing the cattle to stampede in all directions. The whole family came out the house. They were about to see jenny so Stephen yelled "Fort Lenard for life." And then they escaped. Fort Lenard is a military base not far from settlers landing. -
Fort Lenard. Pt.1
If people found out about Stephen's involvement with the cattle it could get Jenny's family thrown out of town. So Stephen packed up and left. On his way out he ran into this wooden shack with jenny inside. He told here he was leaving and she wouldn't have it. So she kissed him. They stayed in the shack that night. When morning came Stephen needed to go back into the town to get some books. Jenny stayed at the cabin. But the thing was when he got to Jenny's house no one was there. -
Fort Lenard. Pt.2
Finally he found everyone inside the school house. He crept up to the window to listen. They were talking about an attack on fort Leonard. When Marcus the town leader came out Stephen told him to not do it that it was him who scared the cattle. But Marcus said it was to late that they had already killed two of their men. So it was either wait to be attacked or go and attack.After that Stephen headed back to the cabin.He told Jenny what happened. They planned to head out in the morning. -
Slavers.
To help they headed out towards fort Lenard. They were going to scout it out. On the way they found some one lurking around settlers landing. When he left they followed him back to his camp. At the camp was a bunch of men with guns. There was also two trucks with machine guns on top. Then Stephen saw a guy walk out and recognized him. He was one of slavers that chased them to the river. Fort Lenard must of hired them he thought. Stephen grabbed a grenade blew up one of the trucks then ran. -
The fight.
When Stephen and Jenny got back a war was raging. They fought it out and in the end settlers landing drove them into a standoff. Fire has ceased and they stand together. They have decided that with so many deaths on both sides it was better to just forge a truce. So they did. Then began to rebuild. The towns and their lives.
