    THE ACT OF UNION
    The Act of Union is pratically the Union of Scotland to England, doing so Great Britain.
    This union occurs due to England has a increment in economy and Scotland people wanted to invert, also there was a bad management of money, that was when the Scottish Parlaiment voted to agree to the Union
    And thanks to that Union, we nowadays have the actual flag of Great Britain.

    SMALLPOX
    Lady Mary Wortley Montagu was the one who introduced the smallpox in Britain.
    Smallpox by not having a cure, and as history has tought us, ended with many lives but it was until 1796 that Edward Ellis managed to create tha smallpox vaccine.

    SEVEN YERS WAR
    The Seven yars War (1756- 1763) was the major conflict before the Industrial Revolution, France, Austria, Saxony, Sweden and Russia were an alliance but in the other hand Prussia, Hanover and Great Britain as the second alliance. This war was caused the Habsburgs to have Silesia again and it was also due to problems between France and Britain to know who would have control of America.
    The Treaty of Aix-Ia-Chapelle was the one that cancluded the war.

    The Industrial Revolution (1760- 1870)was one of the greatest changes that the English society suffer in those years, due to it was the transition from handmaded goods to made them with mass producing machines. After some years it went to USA (spreading t the world)
    A interesting fact is that the word "luddit" come from that period and it refers to the people who wer against the technological change.

    ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS
    In 1768, Sir William Chambers with 36 signs from architects and artits, he went witn the King (George III) to make a request which was "estblish a society for promoting Th Arts of Design", to which the king said yes.
    So with Sir William Chambers and other 36 founder four were Italian, one was French, one Swiss and one American. there wer also women, Mary Moser and Agelica Kauffmann.
    Nowadays, thanks to the we have the Royal Aademy of Arts, The Royal Academy School and the Summer Exhibition.
