    The day of revolt!
    The day that changed Egypt. The 25th of January was the first day of protests. Thousands of Egyptians took the streets, the protests targeted president Hosni Mubarak and his government. Protests were mainly in Cairo yet once it was seen active, other cities triggered such as Suez and Alexandria. Not much violence took place that Tuesday. yet some casualties were recorded. I chose this event because it was the beggining of the Egyptian Revolution, and the first day of protests.

    Friday of Anger - "Gomaat Al-Ghadab"
    Protests began after the Friday prayers, 100s of thousands of people took the streets in Egypt; protests took place mainly in Cairo, Alexandria and Suez yet there were other areas. Police were very violent, they used; rubber bullets, tear gas, stun grenades, and water cannons. Prisons were opened, burned and all inmates escaped. Police and national security left the streets causing looting to take place. A very violent fight took place, Pro Mubarak group vs. protesters.

    The battle of the camel was a scene just like wars in the middle ages. It was Thursday the 2nd of February, a day full of problems. The protesters that slept in Tahrir said that they had a feeling something bad was going to happen that day. Many little groups kept coming into Tahrir square to start problems yet all failed. Until noon came, a group of Pro Mubarak protesters marched into Tahrir square to begin a fight. Behind these protesters came 60 horses and ten camels with thugs on them. These

    The day of departure
    The day of departure was a day full of peaceful protests; people were all over the streets of Egypt. At around 6 pm Omar Suleiman announced that president Mubarak would be leaving. Tahrir square, for the first time in Egypt’s history had over two million people celebrating the fact that Mubarak would be leaving.

    On the 19th March 2011 constitutional votes came up on whether to change the constitution completely or just fix it. 77.28% of votes claimed that the constitution is to be changed.

    Mohamed Morsi just five months after becoming president makes his own constitution. This causes great problems because most of Egypt does not like what he has claimed.

    Protesters take the streets again due to Morsi not changing his disliked constitution. Protests are mainly infront of the royal palace, in Itihadeya. These protests for the first two days are very violent because Muslim brotherhood members begin to fight and kill anyone against Morsi.

    A Rebellion began in late April 2013, it was aimed against Mohammad Morsi. The group of activists that started this rebellion wanted to collect 15 million signatures against Morsi and ended up getting 25 million. Their goal was to see how many people they can get to sign before the 30th of june because the 30th of june was the beggining of a new revolution.

    This was a second revolution that had started against Morsi, and had started from the Rebellion that had started a month earlier.
