In 1788 the first fleet landed in Australia and they divided Australia into two. New South Wales and New Holland.

In 1825 Van Diemens Land was founded and all the naughty convicts from New South Wales were sent there.

In 1831 New Holland was changed to Western Australia.

In 1836 South Australia was established in New South Australia.

In 1847, North Australia was established. New South Wales became smaller.

In 1851 Victoria was established, but the first founding was in 1802. Shortly after was abandoned and found again in 1831.
