  • Period: 2000 BCE to 800 BCE

    Monarchy

    A. In a monarchy, Kings had the governing power.
    B. They used their powers to act as judges and make laws. They also led armies through war, and conduct religious ceremonies.
    C. The monarchy ended when aristocrats wanted to elect a king, then limited the years a king could rule. Later on, aristocrats took over the power.
    D. This form of governing is used in England.

    Oligarchy

    A. A group of wealth men ruled during oligarchy time.
    B. The used there power to benefit the wealthy and poor more poor.
    C. The poor hated the oligarchy, and turned the other leaders who promised to make there life's better.
    D. Russia has oligarchy in there country.
  • Period: 600 BCE to 500 BCE

    Tyranny

    A. In a Tyranny, the ruler was a person that was not a lawful king but was a dictator.
    B. Their method was to keep control from force, and they were were very popular.
    C. The tyranny government lost in its power because some of the rulers were not being fair.
    D. The country's that use Tryanny are: The United States, North Korea, and Zimbabwe.

    Democracy

    A. The people of the government ruled themselves.
    B. They voted on every single issue in any free man could speak on a issue
    C. The end of democracy has not happened yet.
    D. Democracy is in the United States and Canada.
