  • 600 BCE

    Tyranny

    A. The person who made the political choices were called a dictator.
    B.they ruled with almost an unlimited amount of power. A tyrants son doesn't usually inherent power.
    C.the tyrants would be over thrown by there citizens as their rule became unbearable. They were forced from power. After this city's tried to find a better government.
    D.North Korea still uses tyranny and is under the rule of the tyrant known as Kim Jong Un.
  • 500 BCE

    Democracy

    A: all citizens get a share in power along with their own government.
    B: the cities had a lawmaker group. Any man could speak in this assembly and vote.
    C:not all Greeks liked democracy. People told others to vote unwisely and arguments began. This caused cities to go back to old government stiles.
    D: a country that uses democracy is the U.S and is under the presidentsy of Donald Trump

    Oligarchy

    A: During Oligarchy, a small geoup of wealthy men rulled over a city
    B: They rulled unfairly by using their armies to force people to obey unfair laws. They ignored the needs of they people they ruled over.
    C: Oligarchy ended when the poor used armies of other kings to overthrow their oligarch rullers. This government failed because it only supported the rulers needs.
    D: North Korea uses Oligarchy and is currently under the rule of Kim Jong Un.
  • Monarchy

    A: A king would rule over Greek cties, and their children would be the new king after the king died
    B: The kings had the athority to make laws and act as judges. They also lead their armies into battle.
    C: Kings could only rule for a certain amount of years. The people eventually overthrew Monarchy because they wanted a share of the kings power.
    D: Belgium still uses Monachy and is currently under the rule of King Phillippe
