    Christopher Columbus cont.

If Christopher Columbus would not have ventured out looking for a sea route to the West Indies, the "discovery" of America would have been very different. A different explorer for possibly even a different country very well may have been the person to take Columbus' fame. This could of led to different relationships with the Natives, different crops and animals being brought over to the Americas, and a differnt history altogether.

By cracking down on the colonies, this built up the colonist's want for revolution and change.
