Bruno is forced to move from everything he knows, including his bestfriends Daniel, Karl, and Martin. He moves from well-known Berlin to a strange place called something like "out-with". This turns out to be Auschwitz.

As bruno explores the wire fence, he meets a boy named Shmuel.

As it turns out Bruno and Shmuel has birthday on the same day. April 15, 1934. This automatically bring the boys together.

Bruno gets board, as there are nothing to do in his new home. In Berlin Bruno always went exploring, therefor "out-with" is no exeption.

At a point Bruno discovers the differences between the boys when Shmuel appears in Brunos house as a servant.

As time walks by, Bruno and Shmuel gets to know each other better.
On every visit Bruno brings Shmuel food, as he is thin and hungry. -
Egg lices are discovered in Brunos hair, therefor he needs to shave all of his hair away

Bald-Bruno give the boys an idea.

The plan is to sneak Bruno to the other side of the fence. Mostly to look for Shmuels father who unexpectedly went missing, but this is something the boys has been waiting for since day one.

Finally the boys meet up all set. Bruno has a shovel, and Shmuel brought a striped pyjamas to fit Bruno in.

On the other side of the fence the boys are command to get in line. Shmuel calms Bruno down, as this has happened many times before. Its just a little walk.

The walk ends catastrophic.
The boys are mudered in a gas chamber.
