    Christpher Columbus, Voyage to the New World

    While on the voyage to the New World, Christopher Columbus and his crew had witnessed strange occurrences while in the Bermuda triangle. In his ships log he explains that the water was unexplainably calm but as his ship went farther and farther into the triangle they had experienced even stranger things. The whole crew had witnessed an unexplained light. The crew members explained it as being a small ball of fire or a small wax candle rising and lifting up. These occurrences remain a mystery.

  • The Mary Celeste

    The Mary Celeste was a Merchant ship that has been known for being discovered in the Atlantic Ocean with having its crew abandoned. Only one life boat was missing along with its seven crew members. There have been many theories like underwater earthquakes and UFO's making the crew members abandon ship. But no one may ever know what has happened to the crew members.
  • USS Cyclops, USN Fuel ship

    The USS Cyclops was a huge 19,000 ton carrier ship that was used to supply feul to the American fleet during World War I. The USS Cyclops set sail on March 4th, 1918 with 300 crew members on board and was shedualed to arrive in Baltimore on March 13th, 1918. But it had never arrived to its destination. One theory suggests that the USS Cyclops had been attacked by a German U-Boat or submarine becasue it was wartime. But naval experts are not sure what has happened to the ship.
  • The Carroll A. Deering Ship

    The Carroll A. Deering ship was a five mastered schooner. The Deering was spotted after dawn on January 31st, 1921 by Coast Guards in shallow water. When the Coast Guard searched the ship they found it empty without a crew of 11. The only sign of life where two cats on board. This is just one case of a ghost ship washing up in on the shallow waters of the Bermuda Triangle.
  • Martin Mariner, a Boat Patrol Plane

    When all five planes from Flight 19 had vanished, the control tower at Fort Lauderdale air base station had to send help to the planes. So they sent up the Martin Mariner that same night that the planes had disappeared. The Martin Mariner was huge boat patrol plane that searched for missing planes. The Martin Mariner, with a crew of 13 men had sent a radio messge after takeoff to the control tower but after twenty minutes it had disappeared. They left no radio message, no signal and no SOS.
  • Flight 19, 5 USN Avenger Bomber Planes

    A group of five avenger bomber planes where doing bombing practicing over Bimini, they were from the military base Fort Lauder dale, Florida. After their practice they started heading east until a storm that struck while they were in the Bermuda Triangle. They had lost all contact with the tower. The five planes where never heard from again. Several missions have been held by the military to find the planes but had been unsuccessful.
  • Star Tiger, Commerical Airliner

    The Star tiger was a British luxury airliner with 32 passengers. But on the early morning of Janurary 30th, 1948 the Star Tiger had mysteriously went missing.
  • Star Ariel, Commerical Airliner

    The Star Ariel passenger aircraft was owned and operated by British South America Airways. While on a flight over the Atlantic Ocean to Bermuda and Kingston, Jamaica the Star Ariel plane had disappeared without any sign of wreckage.
  • C-119 Plane

    The C-119 was an American military transport aircraft that was developed from the World World II era. It was alos known as the "Flying Boxcar" because of its huge cargo area. While flying over the triangle with 10 crew members aborad the C-119 went missing.
  • The Witchcraft, A Cabin Cruiser

    The Witchcraft was a cabin cruiser that was owned by a Miami hotel. The witchcraft disappeared just one mile from the Miami shore. The owner named Dan Burack had invited a friend, a catholic priest named Patrick Horgan out on his boat. The two were going to relax and enjoy the Christmas lights visible on the shore line. At 9:00 pm a radio distress call was sent out by the owner to the Coast Guard. He said his propeller had hit something. The Coast Guard had showed up and the boat was gone.
