The Sons of Liberty was a political organization founded in the thirteen American colonies. It was founded to advance the rights of the Colonist. They wanted to fight taxation founded by the British government. -

The Great Compromise meant that there would be two legislative bodies in congress. In the lower house, proportional representation was granted. In the upper house, they were granted equal representation by the states. Senators are chosen by state legislatures. -
