The Dutch has large dislike for the Hapsburg rulers, who ruled over them and after the Protestant reformation sweeps through the Dutch population. The dislike for their rulers grows even larger until it snaps.

It was a huge organized killing of Huguenots that would increase the tensions between the Catholic and Protestant population and lead to the death of 70,000 Protestants through out France.

After Elizabeth I comes to power Phillip II sends the Spanish Armada to England to help restore Catholicism there after his wife Mary I dies.

After days of fighting the British and a lot of bad luck due to storms delaying them. The British launched a counter attack at the Spanish ships docked at Calais forcing them to retreat to sea or get sunk. The remaining ships sailed back to Spain in a horrible defeat leaving 15,000 or so men dead.

It added religious equality and let the Huguenots freely worship in France. This would lead to France prospering but this would only last so long.

The 17th centenary

As an agreement between Spain and the Dutch republic there would be peace between them as they both were under financial strain and couldn't last any longer in the war. This would last for 12 years until Petrus Peckius the Younger failed to renew the truce and fighting continued.

After high tensions between the Catholics and the Protestants, Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand II of Bohemia drew the final straw after he tried to curtail the religious activities of his subjects leading to a rebellion and eventually starting the 30 Years War.

After 80 years of fighting both sides were tired of this constant fighting and this would lead to the peace of Münster giving the Dutch independence form Spain. This would not be the lasting effect of it as there were many more negative effect because of the war.

After a huge defeat the Hapsburg's start signing treaties in Münster and Osnabrück, also known as the Peace of Westphalia this marking the end of the war

It would be revoked by the Henry IV own grandson Louis XIV and this would lead to mass emigration of Huguenots and Frances economy would fall out of control.
