There were the clashes between police and anti-government protesters and firefight. Leaders of the protests call for Yingluck's government replacing by an unelected 'people council' There were some causes of collision, such as rice subsidy controversy. Because Yingluck is Thaksin's younger sister, she was thought as marionette.
Reflection
It's a difficult problem for a long term. It'd be better not relying on army.

Summary
The army set curfew. Thai economy was influenced by the curfew, in terms of tourism, there were a lots of damage. So, people want to live as usual. On 14th the curfew was lifted. Reflection
