    placed a tax on almost all printed material, including news paper wills and paying cards. But then paraliment then taxed the colonist dircetly. In addtion, it taxed the colonist without thier consent

    Colonist would resist internal taxes those paid inside the colonist. In result new taxes would apply only imported goods such as glass, tea, and paper with tax being paid at the port of entry

    this law allowed the company a virtual monopoly, or sole control of the trade for tea in America. This act let company's sell tea directly to shopkeepers and by pass colonial merchants who normally distributed the tea.

    This act closed Boston Harbor until the massachusetts colonists paided for the ruined tea. This action prevented the arrival of food and other supplies normally came by ship.
