Susan B. Anthony was born on Febuary 15, 1820. When she was 6 years old, her family moved to Battenville, New York. As a young women she taught school.

Anthony became involved with the temparence movement, which fought againsdt slavery. At the time women were not allowed to vote.

Susan voted in 1872 to draw attention. She was arrested, but she refused to ay her fine.

Susan died in Rochester, New York. Afterwards every state allowed women to vote. But part was sad.Susan did not live long enough to see the end(everybody voting).
