At the time, women were not allow to vote. Susan and Elizabeth formed the National women suffrage group so women could have the right to vote.

Susan tryed to vote in the presidential election. She was arrested and she refused to pay her fine.

Susan died on March13,1906 in Rochester New York. When she died the constitution gave women the right to vote.
