    A stroke is what affects many people in the population. A stroke is what occurs when the blood supply to the brain is interrupted or reduced.

    There are many signs and symptoms of a stroke and these can include, sudden numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body, sudden confusion, trouble speaking, or difficulty understanding speech, sudden trouble seeing in one or both eyes, sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance, or lack of coordination, and sudden severe headache

    Numbness or weakness

    Numbness or weakness can be a sign or symptom of a stoke. If an individual had any reduced feeling of sensations then this is a sign that they need medical assistance as soon as possible.

    Confusion or trouble speaking

    if an individual was having trouble with their speech and could not pronounce their words correctly then this is a sign that the individual is having a stroke. Also if the individual has signs of confusion and does not know what is happening then this is a sign of a stroke as the individuals brain is being affected.

    Eye sight problems

    Many people who have had a stroke will experience signs of eye sight problems. This is generally a case of the optic nerve behind the eye being damaged or interrupted which causes people to go blind in one or both eyes or just have trouble seeing things clearly.

    Dizziness or loss of balance

    Many people may experience signs of dizziness or may lose their balance. This is caused by one side of the body completely shutting down and the individual losing their balance and may not be able to stand up straight.

    Severe headaches

    Severe headaches can be a sign that an individual is experiencing a stroke whether it be major or minor. People can experience severe headaches which can normally last a few minutes depending on the stroke they are having. Many people can have a severe headache and not realize that they are having a stroke.
