    After the first steam engine was shipped to NSW, it was installed in John Dickson's flourmill. Before than, windmills were needed for mechanical work.

    The first paddle steamer, Sophia Jane was shipped to Sydney

  • 36 flourmills have been installed

    26 steam engines has been installed in flourmills and the other 10 has been installed in industries.

  • The PN Russell company started

    The Sydney Foundry and Engineering Works was taken over by Peter Russell. Peter Russell renamed it PN Russell Company. The company made: many steam engine parts, iron castings, brass castings, railings, etc.

  • Steamship ports were available all over Australia

    Ports in Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Moreton Bay, Adelaide and Tasmania were running.
