First inclination of faith (+)
Up until this point i knew of Jesus and God from my familes views. Once i met Gary S. and started going to church with his family i started to gain a greater understanding. -
Observation of Faith (+)
When I started hanging out with the Fileners I was able to watch them and see how faith was represented in their lives. I was very fortunate for the experience because during the time I went to church with Gary and his family, it seemed to me that although people gathered for church they did not follow through in the rest of their experiences. While observing the Fileners it was clear that they showed faith in every action that they did and so did almost all the people they went to meetings with -
Open and Accepting (+)
During the religion class I interviewed a few people for some of the assignment talking about faith. After one meeting with the workers I was driving homeand something hit me, I got a lot of flash back of my life and how at key times God has always been there and how I have been so fortunate to find great friends. I started crying out of happiness and came to the conclusion that I was done doing things my way and I was ready to completely submit to God's will.
