Back in the 1960s, there were fewer cars than the modern days (nowadays) and not that many buildings so if you wanted it to connect to mother nature, you can go to a nearby park and connect. With the clean air available, they would not be distracted. -

Terrorist attacks can destroy important buildings and landmarks like Rotterdam cathedral was burnt and artifacts were destroyed like statues and ancient Bibles. -

When it's 1979 our technology has been upgraded to phones so when they call people they can communicate with other people.

Development (Ganges River India)
The Ganges river has been polluted since the beginning of Buddhism, since then they have been developing ways to worship it. One of the ways is throwing flowers in and bathing also drinking the water(ECT). With all of this action, it causes pollution and sooner or later, they could not worship it. -
Development (Pollution Becomes Big)
the development of the car grew in the 1985 onward. With more of the pollution people will still go and meditate, but not soo much people would go to parks, because they got other ideas like going to the mall or go shopping. -

In 1989s people use to hear radios and learn about the world and not all of them would understand the way of meditating or other spiritual activities. -

The infrastructure of spiritual structures are changing into a modern look like some houses are inspired by religious structures.
Lots of architecture in Indonesia is inspired by Muslim culture related structure. -

By now the phone industry was growing fast, and other company like Apple, Samsung and Nokia, tried to modify the first phone ever, being able to make video calls. -

By now they are seeing how much they polluted the holy river and plans to do different ways of solving this problem, meanwhile, they still use it but trying to reduce throwing things in it. The government said that they will put flesh eating turtles to eat some of the human/animals remain -
Infrastructure
People have been using religious buildings as a haven for people that cannot afford a home and at night they give out free food to the less fortunate people. -
Development (stress)
Now there are more cars and malls than ever. People would do other things such as shopping and spend money on cars and other things, and when they lose their money, they get stressed and leads to mental health. To resolve this, people meditate, but because of their stress, they can't think and don't think about it. -
Infrastructure
Borobudur is most known as a tourist attraction and when I (Yazan) went there, I saw Buddhist people praying to it. Rumour said that people would take parts of the temple and sell them. Whenever Merapi (a volcano) erupted, they would need to cover the biggest temple with pieces of tarts that will cover it from the ashes. -
Technology
By now technology has taken over our eyes, instead of people going to the doctors for medicine, they go there to check their eyes and see if they are plus or minus and. People waste time when eating. Steve Jobs idea for the iPhone was to educate people, he was soo serious that he did not allow his children to use it, he knew the consequences and how dangerous it is, he only allowed them when they are mature enough. -
